New patients
Somebody decides at ten at night that their back has had enough. If the only way in is a phone call at nine tomorrow, you will not hear from most of them again.

Nobody at the desk typed this
Booking runs from your own website, in your branding, whenever the patient happens to be looking. You decide who gets straight in and who you want to look at first — familiar faces booked automatically, new patients held for review, or everything reviewed. It changes whenever you want.
Once they are booked, their forms go out ahead of the visit. They fill them in on the sofa the night before, a few minutes at a time, and what they write lands on the chart — history, insurance, what brought them in and how bad it is right now.
So the first visit starts with the patient in the chair rather than with a clipboard, and nobody at the front desk re-types a single thing.
