Press record when the visit begins. Nothing is listening before that and nothing is listening after — it is a control on the note, in your hand, and easy to explain to a patient who asks.
What gets suggested comes back a section at a time, phrased the way your template phrases things. You accept what is right and change what is not. Nothing lands in the note without you agreeing to it, because you are the one signing your name to it.
It also picks up the parts that are not prose. Say you adjusted L4, L5 and the sacrum and those levels are marked on the diagram. The codes that match what you documented are suggested, ready for billing, so the note you just finished is already most of the way to being paid for.
