Insurance

Insurance, handled.

The complicated part of getting paid should not need another person on the payroll to manage it.

Coverage is checked before the patient is in the chair, so what they owe is a conversation you have up front rather than a surprise six weeks later.

When you sign the note, the claim goes out. Not re-keyed into a payer portal, not printed, not saved for Friday afternoon — filed, and then tracked until the money lands.

Occasionally something comes back. When it does, you get a plain sentence about what it means and what to do about it, including when the answer is that there is nothing worth doing. That is the exception though, and it is meant to feel like one.
